a bit about US
TIPPL Sports was born out of boredom, not with football, but with the games built around it. The same old fantasy formats. The same Premier League obsession. And every league we joined? Over by Christmas.
So we built our own. A quick Excel league between a few mates. No budgets. No scores. No forgetting one week and all being lost. Just results, bold predictions, and a chaotically fun points system.
Then it spread. Friends of friends joined. Friends of their friends joined.
It became clear. Fans, especially across the EFL, were crying out for something better. Something non-corporate. Something built for them.
So we turned that Excel file into a real platform. TIPPL Sports is now a weekly prediction game for the full 92. Private leagues. A smart scoring system. And the kind of competitive edge only proper football fans appreciate.
This isn’t just an app. It’s a new football ritual, and with the ideas we’ve got in mind, it’s just getting started.
why the name?
The name TIPPL started as a nod to our original name: The Tipster League. Over time, “The Tipster League” got shortened, the name stuck, and TIPPL was born.
It also plays on the weekly ritual of making predictions, the art of backing your gut, calling the upset, and chasing bragging rights one result at a time.
So whether you’re in a WhatsApp group or round the pub table, TIPPL is built to bring that same energy, weekly, all season long.
